The Notes widget gives you a board of note cards right on your dashboard. Jot down ideas, draft text, or keep reference notes - all with a full-featured rich text editor that supports headings, lists, tables, and more.

#How to Use

#Adding a Note

Click the Add Note button in the widget header to create a new note. The note opens immediately in the editor so you can start typing right away. You can also right-click (or tap and hold) an existing note card and choose Add Note to insert a new note after it.

#Editing a Note

Click any note card to open the full editor. The editor supports:

  • Headings - organize your note with different heading levels
  • Bullet lists and numbered lists
  • Task lists - checkable to-do items
  • Blockquotes
  • Code blocks
  • Tables

Your changes save automatically as you type. Click the back button to return to the note board.

#Exporting a Note

While viewing a note, click the Export button to download it in one of four formats:

  • Markdown (.md)
  • HTML (.html)
  • PDF (.pdf)
  • Text (.txt)

The filename is based on the first heading in your note.

#Managing Notes

#Reordering Notes

#Duplicating a Note

Right-click (or tap and hold) a note card and choose Duplicate Note. A copy appears right after the original.

#Deleting a Note

Right-click (or tap and hold) a note card and choose Delete Note. You'll be asked to confirm before the note is removed.

  • The note board adjusts its columns to fit your screen, showing 2–4 columns depending on the available space.
