This Privacy Policy describes how NOLIMITS4WEB LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use Start Page HQ at startpagehq.com, our browser extensions, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

#Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication details (via Google, GitHub, or Apple sign-in).

Your content. We store the content you create and manage through the Service, including widget configurations, notes, links, bookmarks, images, and page layouts.

Usage data. We collect information about how you interact with the Service, such as features used, pages visited, widget activity, and general usage patterns.

Payment information. When you purchase a subscription or AI credits, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number - Stripe handles payment data in accordance with PCI standards.

Support communications. If you contact us for support, we retain the correspondence and any information you provide.

#How We Use Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Power AI features (image generation, translation, summaries) using third-party providers

#Legal Bases (EEA/UK)

If you are in the European Economic Area or UK, we process your data based on: performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service, your consent (where applicable), and compliance with legal obligations.

#AI Features

Start Page HQ uses third-party AI providers (Anthropic for text generation, FAL.ai for image generation and editing) to power optional AI features such as news summaries, daily quiz, translation, and image generation. When you use AI features, only AI-specific prompts are sent to these providers for processing on our server side. AI providers process data on our behalf and are contractually bound to protect your information.

Data segregation. AI providers never receive your personal data, Google account data, or any data obtained from Google APIs (such as Google Calendar). Data from Google integrations is handled exclusively between Start Page HQ and Google - it is never sent to Anthropic, FAL.ai, or any other third-party AI provider.

We do not use your content or prompts to train AI models. Our AI providers are contractually prohibited from using any data sent to them for training generalized AI models. You are responsible for not submitting sensitive personal information in AI prompts.

#Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage) to operate the Service. For details, see our Cookie Policy.

#Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the Service (hosting, payment processing, AI processing, analytics)
  • Third-party integrations you choose to connect (Google Calendar, RSS feeds, etc.) - only the data necessary for the integration to function
  • Law enforcement or regulators when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights and safety
  • Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

We are based in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US. For EEA/UK users, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
